Inside the £12.5m block of flats up for sale in Huddersfield
Take a look inside the large student apartment complex worth £12.5m currently on the market in Huddersfield.
Rightmove have uploaded the pictures of The Palace Studios in Huddersfield town centre to their website, where it has been listed by Fleming & Co (Estates) Ltd for an eye watering £12,583,000.
The property has been redeveloped in recent years by the Sekhon Group, run by former Huddersfield University law graduate, Simmy Sekhon.
The Palace Studios, at the foot of Kirkgate, was taken over by Mr Sekhon in 2012 when it was the troubled Society nightclub.
Since then it has undergone a huge renovation and has been transformed into high end student accommodation.
Alongside the listing on Rightmove, a message reads: “Palace Studios represents one of the most exciting investment opportunities in the north of England to date.
“With its prime location situated in the heart one of the country’s largest towns, this development is guaranteed to attract huge interest.
This fantastic opportunity represents a gross rental yield of 7.2 per cent.”
Pictures uploaded to the online real estate portal show stylish bedrooms, a small kitchen area and colourful interior decor.
The Palace Studios also boasts a private gym and all rooms come with an en-suite.
Viewings are strictly by appointment only, according to the Rightmove website.
