A Quest For Roti

As part of Radio Sangam and Sangam Festival, A Quest for Roti (documentary), a film highlighting the struggle of early migrants to the UK, talks with local residents about their journeys. The documentary, often emotional and hard hitting, was supported by us and features Sekhon Groups Nirmal Sekhon MBE where he gives his personal account of when coming to the UK as a young man. This is a must watch documentary to fully understand the real life challenges and struggles of ordinary migrants facing extraordinary challenges. Available on YouTube.
